Description
Our Woodland Cabins provide self catering accommodation for up to eight people (max 5 adults) and have a wealth of character & charm to provide a true log cabin experience.
Cabins are situated in a pretty, secluded woodland approximately 200 yards from beautiful Loch Awe and have a Visit Scotland 3 star rating. Included features such as vaulted ceilings, wood burning stoves & raised verandas.
The accommodation consists of open plan Lounge, dining area & kitchen, double bedroom, triple bunk room and family shower room. Lounge also includes a sofa bed, which can sleep a further two people if required. Blaeberry cabin has an additional loft room with twin beds. A 10% additional cost is charged for Blaeberry cabin.
The lounge / dining area, which has a high vaulted ceiling, has satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV & DVD), sofa bed, easy chairs, dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Front elevation is mainly glazed, to maximise views, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area.
Wifi broadband available in selected cabins @ extra £30 per week or £15 per short break. Please book in advance.
The kitchen area is well equipped, with cooker, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery & cutlery.
Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet and shaver point.
Bedroom 1 is a ground floor room with vaulted ceiling. Ithas a double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.
Bedroom 2 also has vaulted ceilings and has a triple bunk bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet. The bunk consists of a double bed base with a single top bunk. The top bunk is suitable for children (under 16) only.
Loft room to Blaeberry cabin with twin beds, clothes hanging area & chest of draws.
Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, including picnic table, a BBQ area and grassed area. The cabins are very private and are located in a pretty, secluded woodland.
Two cabins (Silver birch & Oak) have Scandinavian, wood fired hot tubs available at extra £60 per stay. Please confirm if required when booking.
The cabins are timber lined throughout, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. They provide a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm & feel of a true log cabin in a quiet forest location.
All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. We charge £20 per dog per stay.
We also charge a deposit fee of £50 (£100 for groups of 5 or more) payable directly to us 4 weeks prior to arrival. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure, subject to satisfactory inspection of premises after departure.
Prices are based on max of 5 people sharing. Over occupancy charged at £35 / person / week or £25 / person / short break.
These are non smoking cabins.
